Smart Multi Energy Tanks
Triangle Tube Smart series of domestic hot water tanks are heated by the hot water from your boiler.
As your home is being heated, your domestic hot water is being heated at the same time, thereby, consuming less fuel and conserving energy. Combine this with a recovery rate that is up to three times faster than conventional gas or electric water heaters. The Smart series in-direct fires water tanks heat more hot water with less fuel for the energy conscious consumer.
Triangle Tube also offer Smart Multi Energy Tanks (SME) ideal for solar and ground source heat pumps. ductless.ca Inc. is pleased to install and service all Triangle Tube Smart and SME hot water tanks.
Triangle Tube Smart Hot Water Tank Features
- Exclusive “tank-in-tank” technology.
- Self-cleaning and self-descaling heat exchanger with up to 2½ times the surface area of conventional coiled heat exchangers. The superior heat exchange surface produces a larger volume of hot water in a short period of time. Thanks to this fast recovery, the storage capacity can be reduced, resulting in a reduced thermal loss.
- The storage tank is constructed of stainless steel and is surrounded by boiler water in the outer tank, resulting in a full “wrap around” heat exchanger. Additionally, since it is constructed of stainless steel, a protective anode is not required.
- The “tank-in-tank” design allows domestic water to be stored at higher temperatures preventing bacteria growth.
- Lowest pressure drop in the industry.
- Insulated with 2 in of injected polyurethane foam, resulting in a stand by heat loss of less than 1 °F/h.
- Long term dependability; The average life span of a Smart series in-direct fired water tank exceeds 20 years! That is two or three times the average life of a conventional gas, oil or electric water tank.
