Panasonic Ductless Features

Less Energy, More Comfort: The Inverter Advantage. By utilizing inverter circuits in all of their ductless units, Panasonic is able to provide optimum power control and very efficient operation. The inverter adjusts compressor motor speed instantly and constantly. As soon as the heat pump is turned on, the inverter provides the power needed to rapidly cool the area. When maximum capacity is not needed, the power of the system is decreased resulting in increased system efficiency.

All Panasonic ductless units come with 3M anti-microbial filters which inactivate more than 99% of captured allergens including pollen, dead dust mites, pet dander and mold. Compared to standard paper filters, the Panasonic 3M filters prevent the growth of microbials for more than 30 days.

All Panasonic ductless units use an original Blue Fin anti-rust coating on their outdoor unit condensers coils. They are highly durable and can take years of salty air, rain and snow exposure. Panasonic has tripled the life of their condensers with the blue fin anti-rust coating.

Some indoor units operate at a whisper-quiet 25 dB. You may not even hear it running. This makes it ideal for bedrooms, living rooms and offices.
The new Quiet Mode makes Panasonic units even quieter – As low as 20 dB! Simply press the Quiet button and instantly 5 dB of noise reduction is achieved.

ECONAVI is Panasonic’s Human Detection Technology which monitors people in the room and modulates the temperature of the space accordinaly for optimum operation. If no people are detected in the room for a long period of time, the system switches over to an energy savings mode.

Panasonic utilizes R-410A which is a zero ozone depleting refrigerant for all of their ductless heat pump models in accordance with the Montreal Protocol.

Easier to use than most TV remotes, the included wireless controllers feature large and easy-to-read displays and lets you adjust fan speeds and output modes from anywhere in the room.
